Beyond the Game. Inside the Story.

From the Infield is an independent, Ohio-based sports media publication delivering professional reporting, insightful analysis, and compelling visual storytelling from the world of competitive sports.

Built on a foundation of motorsports journalism, From the Infield has evolved from its racing roots into a growing sports media outlet covering national motorsports and Ohio professional sports.

Our focus is simple: provide accurate, engaging coverage that goes beyond final scores and headlines to explore the athletes, teams, organizations, and moments that define competition.

Our Coverage

National Motorsports

Motorsports remain at the heart of From the Infield. Our coverage spans major racing disciplines, including INDYCAR, NASCAR, Formula 1, IMSA, and national dirt track racing.

Through race reports, analysis, photography, and feature stories, we bring readers closer to the competition and the people who make the sport possible.

Ohio Sports

As From the Infield expands its editorial coverage, Ohio sports are becoming an increasingly important part of our publication.

Our current focus includes professional hockey coverage of the Columbus Blue Jackets and Cleveland Monsters, with the long-term objective of expanding across Ohio’s professional and collegiate sports landscape.

Original Reporting and Photography

We believe sports journalism is about more than reporting results.

From the intensity of a championship battle to the personalities behind the competition, our reporting and photography aim to capture both the defining moments and the stories that might otherwise go untold.

Our Editorial Commitment

From the Infield is committed to accuracy, fairness, transparency, and responsible journalism.

Our editorial decisions are guided by newsworthiness and the interests of our readers—not by teams, sponsors, advertisers, or organizations we cover.

We believe credibility is earned through reliable reporting, clear attribution, responsible sourcing, and a willingness to correct mistakes.

Looking Ahead

Our ambition is to establish From the Infield as one of Ohio’s most respected independent sports media publications while continuing to deliver specialized motorsports coverage to audiences nationwide.

As our publication grows, our commitment remains the same: meaningful journalism, compelling photography, and coverage that takes fans beyond the game and inside the story.
